Product Requirements
 

Please make sure that your server meets the below listed Site Guard requirements.

Operating System: *nix, Linux
Note: Site Guard is NOT compatible with Windows. Please make sure that your operating system is Unix/Linux. If you have any doubt, please contact your server administrator.

Web Server: Apache 1.3.x/ 2.0.x
Almost all Unix servers include Apache web server. However, if you are unsure, contact your server administrator or hosting provider.

Database: MySQL 4.0.x
MySQL database is essential for Site Guard. You can use an existing MySQL database for the installation as well as a new one. If an existing database used, Site Guard’s installation won’t damage it, because it builds its own tables with a special prefix.

Languages: PHP4
It is important that your server has PHP 4.x enabled. Contact your server administrator if you are unsure.
